Ginger Kathrens started Taurus
Productions in Colorado Springs, Colorado in the 1970's. For the past 25 years,
the Taurus creative team has been producing television programs, political
media, sports documentaries, public service announcements and commercials for
clients throughout the world. In the past 14 years, Taurus has contributed to
award winning programming for PBS, the Discovery Channel, WNET/Nature, the BBC
and National Geographic.

The
two-hour special "Spirits of the Rainforest" which Ginger co-produced,
directed, filmed and edited for Discovery was a multiple Emmy award winner
(Best Cultural/Informational Documentary, Best Music) and was selected by
People Magazine as one of the best 15 television programs or series for
1993.

two programs in succession for the Discovery Channel, "The Ultimate Guide;
Dogs," and "The Ultimate Guide: Horses." |

| Beginning in 1987 Taurus was hired
by Marty Stouffer, the host and producer of the popular PBS series, Wild
America. They participated in the production, writing and editing of over 25
half hour segments including the two part special, "Year of the Mustang."

Taurus Productions has been
honored with hundreds of awards including accolades in Cine Gold Eagle
competitions, the Houston International Film Festival, The Denver Film
Festival, and the New York International Film Festival, to name a few.
